Betway recently challenged a number of Tottenham Hotspur stars in a little competition that would see their NFL knowledge put to the test.
The video, which was conducted before the LA Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at Super Bowl LVI, involved Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Sergio Reguilon, Ben Davies, and Lucas Moura as each of them took part in the mini quiz as teams of two to see who knew more about American Football.
Spurs currently host a couple of regular-season matches on an annual basis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the NFL heads to London each year, therefore it made perfect sense for the club to be the one to do this video.
However, after watching the Betway Insider video, it might seem as though some players might want to brush up on their NFL knowledge before the next game is played at the stadium later in the year.
The team of Hojbjerg and Reguilon did not appear to be too convincing with their knowledge about American Football, especially in round two. They managed to get through the first and last round, but the second really showed the difference between their knowledge and that of Moura and Davies.
As highlighted, the NFL Challenge consisted of three different rounds:
- Round 1 featured a game of charades
- Round 2 was a round that looked to test the players’ knowledge regarding certain NFL jargon
- Round 3 was a geography-based game where they had to place the teams on a map
Both teams were able to navigate the game of charades rather well, with both Reguilon and Moura being able to make the right kind of actions that allowed Hojbjerg and Davies to guess the right teams being acted out correctly.
However, as mentioned, round two is where everything became undone for the Dane and the Spaniard, as it was clear that they did not know what some of the jargon that they were provided had meant, leaving Davies and Moura in a state of laughter throughout.
The Welshman and Brazilian were excellent in this round, though, as it was clear that they knew what each phrase and term that they were provided was and could explain it well.
The final round of this NFL Challenge had seen the Tottenham Hotspur stars have to place the NFL teams on a blank American map in the position where they played their home games, which is something both managed to do rather successfully.
The competition finished 12-11 in favor of the team consisting of Moura and Davies, with round two certainly being the deciding factor!
